This is the logo for a new initiative of the Nehemiah Center (where I am serving here in Nicaragua) to engage Christians in the arts and media in the transformation of this country. As my good friend Paul often says, artists have a key role to play in the Kingdom of God.One of my projects last week was to design the invitation to a function of this developing association of artists in the Managua area this coming Thursday. One of these artists that I have had the privilege to befriend over the last few weeks is Jairo, a young Nica man who has started a whole Cristian art program for youth. More about that tomorrow.
